To: All Riverwalk Residents

To prevent plumbing issues let the cold water drip from faucets served by exposed pipes - especially those along outside walls. Running water through pipes - even at a trickle - helps prevent them from freezing. Plus open outside wall kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors under sinks to allow warmer air to circulate around the plumbing.

Comcast BUNDLING

The Board would like to thank all the unit owners who had participated in the voting process for Comcast Bulking.    In order to move forward with Comcast bundling, the board had decided that 75% of the association needed to be in favor of the proposed service. 

Calculating the votes received from the unit owners of the Riverwalk Community.  We will not be bulking our cable/internet services at this time.

The board would once again like to thank everyone for their involvement in helping the board make an informed decision.

7/18/13 = Painting Balcony Railings


Reiser Decorating Company will start painting the balcony railings on Monday, July 22nd, 2013, weather permitting
.  The work will start on the 555 Building (Tiers: 03, 02, 01 & 08).

July 29th, 2013 - 555 Blg Tiers: 07, 06, 05, 04

Balcony flooring and fixtures will be covered with tarps during the work.  Scaffolding, lifts and ladders will be used.

Personal property and belongings will need to be removed from your balcony and railings.  The painters will not be responsible if anything is left on the balcony and gets damaged.  Items that are left on the balcony need to be moved away from the railings.  Grills will not have to be removed, but is recommend to do so. 

After the final coat of paint has been applied to your railing, please wait 48 hours before returning your personal property back on to the balcony. 

Notices will be posted with updates in the lobby/website, and you will also receive these updates by email.

Cars have to be removed from the parking garage by 8:00AM and may reenter after 3:00PM.  Cars that are not removed from the garage will be towed at the unit owner’s expense.

Emails will be sent to all participants as a blind copy to protect their information.  All information provided will only be used to notify unit owners of association business/notifications.   At no time will it be sold or used as a means of solicitation.

4-13-12 = Satellite Dishes:


Dear 545/555 Unit Owner:

 

I am writing regarding the current satellite dishes that are installed on the balconies of several units in both buildings, some of which are improperly installed.

 

According to the rules and regulations of your association, the following criteria must be met
in order to have a satellite dish on your balcony:


  • Must be installed within the interior confines of the balcony railing.
  • Must be free standing “non-penetrating” with a weighted or tripod support on the concrete balcony surface, (cannot be attached to the balcony railing)
  • Must not break the plane of the balcony dimensions (cannot extend beyond balcony)
  • Must not exceed one (1) meter in diameter.
  • No cables are to be installed to run attached to any exterior surface of the building.


 

If your satellite dish is attached to the balcony railing or is hanging over the plane of the
balcony, you will need to have it reinstalled to abide by the above rules.  Please do so prior to May 1, 2012. Failure to do so will result in a fine.

Please note that the front parking lot is for guest parking only. However, no vehicles are permitted to park in this area from 1:00am until 6:00am (see towing rules for more information).

Effective immediately the River Walk Condominium Association will no longer pay any invoice submitted by American Comfort Heating without a work order authorization from Hanlin Management.

Should you have a heating problem with your heating system, please notify our office (847-296-1941).
